Police are investigating a fatal shooting at a home in West Denver Friday afternoon.
Police were called to the home at 1497 Knox Court at 4:20 p.m., where they found a woman who had been shot. The home is just south of West Colfax Avenue and a few blocks west of Federal Boulevard, near schools and playgrounds.
The woman’s name and other information have not been released, pending the notification of family.
The case is being investigated as a homicide. No information has been released about a potential suspect.
Detective John White, spokesman for the Denver Police Department, said investigators are “sifting through a lot of information” that might related to the woman’s death.
