Denver police are investigating a dead body found beneath the underpass at Lincoln Street and Sixth Avenue this afternoon.
Police have not released any details about the person, including age and gender.
A passerby on the bike path reported the body to police about 2:40 p.m., said Detective John White, a spokesman for the police department.
Emergency crews responded and confirmed the person was dead.
White said homicide detectives have been called as a precaution, but there were no immediate signs of foul play. He also noted that homeless people live in the area. He said soon after the body was found that investigators had not yet determined or ruled out the person being homeless.
