Fans of Nina McLemore who have visited her stores in Vail, Aspen and on either coast are drawn to the classic but updated looks created by someone like them, a woman more interested in style and longevity in her clothing than in chasing trends. McLemore started her company in 2003 after a career in accessories and retailing, catering to business women. The founder is also philanthropy-minded, serving on the boards of the Girl Scout Council of Greater New York and InMotion. The company recently partnered with the Women’s Foundation of Colorado for its luncheon in Vail and is participating in its Sept. 21 event in Denver.
