Attending
a free job fair
and barbecue
is a great way
to look into a
career in the
trucking industry.

Look online
or in the “help
wanted” section
of the newspaper and you’ll see that professional
truck drivers are in high demand. In tough economic
times, this can mean job stability.
SAGE Truck Driving School provides training
for those with no experience so they can enter
this high-paying field. SAGE has been a leader
in quality CDL training for over 22 years.

Many SAGE graduates earn in excess of
$45,000 their first year. Most companies offer
bonuses, health care options and other benefits.
High pay and opportunity for career advancement
has attracted many career-changers to the
trucking industry. Students at SAGE include
many people who want an exciting change and
a new direction in life. Most students want job
training that is fast and focused. CDL training
can provide the answer.

SAGE is a national leader in tractor-trailer
driver training. Its mission is to train safe,
professional and proficient entry-level drivers.
Instructors provide classroom and hands-on
training with late-model tractors and trailers.
SAGE training facilities provide private
instruction with only one student per truck
so the program focuses on the students’ skills.
Testing for the Class A and B CDL is done right
at the school.

SAGE believes truck driver training should be
a good value and affordable. SAGE schools are
committed to providing financial assistance to
students. Training may be funded by state job
training programs, WIA, dislocated workers,
Choices & veterans. SAGE does work with post
911 and the GI bill for tuition.

Because the need for qualified truck drivers
continues to exceed the supply, employment
opportunities are greater than ever.

SAGE is hosting a free job fair and barbecue
on Tuesday, Aug. 21, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. You
do not have to have your CDL to attend this fair
and apply for these jobs. May Trucking, Knight,
Werner, Swift, Houg and other trucking companies
will be in attendance ready to take your
applications. There will also be free information
seminars on how to get your CDL.

For details about training, CDL testing, or the
job fair contact Bonnie Babcock at (303) 289-
7243, toll free at (800) 867-9856, or go to
www.sageschools.com.
