Former Denver preschool teacher David Moe on Tuesday pleaded not guilty in U.S. District Court to three child-pornography charges
Moe, who taught at the exclusive Paddington Station Preschool for 18 years, is accused of distributing, receiving and owning child pornography, according to an indictment filed on Aug. 22. The 45-year-old preschool teacher was arrested on July 24. He remains in custody pending a bond release hearing. Moe was granted bond on Aug. 8. If he posts bond, he will be required to live with his parents and prohibited from having any contact with minors or accessing the Internet.
If convicted of distributing and attempting to distribute child pornography, Moe faces five to 20 years in prison, in addition to a $250,000 fine. He faces the same sentence if convicted of receiving or attempting to receive child pornography.
