According to documents released Wednesday, Dr. Stephen Stein — who reportedly reused needles on his dental patients for years — is also accused of using drugs and diverting prescription drugs from his patients to himself.
In the documents released by the state, Dr. Stein has agreed to give up his professional license.
The board accuses Dr. Stein of writing prescriptions for patients for drugs like Vicodin and Vicoprofen and then telling them to bring the prescription drugs to the clinic. He would then use the drugs for personal use, reportedly.
