Sustainability is among the big buzzwords in fashion lately. Fabrics that can be easily produced, environment-friendly manufacturing processes and materials that can be repurposed or recycled are in demand. is tackling the subject in its Sept. 15 FACE — Fashion and Creative Enterprises — Business Symposium. The day will include speakers, networking, a fashion competition and presentation featuring local designers and a show from , a Houston-based designer who counts among his fans such celebrities as Taylor Swift and Lauren Conrad.
