Help The Wildlife Experience celebrate its 10-year anniversary with a variety of hands-on activities as part of an Adventure Carnival from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 8. Fly fishing, archery, air rifles and duck calling are just a few of the adventures. Diego from “Go, Diego, Go!” will hang with the younger guests who can also get a wild (temporary) tattoo, make some art and jump in the elephant bounce house. The heat is on
Head to the Douglas County Events Center for Saturday’s second annual Chile Chili Festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. “A Culinary Celebration of the Chile Pepper” features roasted green chile from Milberger Farms, gardening and landscaping items from Pine Lane Nursery and tasty selections from Denver Gourmet Food Trucks.
