Two victims from a possible homicide-suicide on Saturday in Eagle County have been identified.
Andrew Mazeika, 68, and Judi Mazeika, 54, were found with gunshot wounds at about 11:30 a.m. Saturday at a home on Vega Drive in El Jebel when deputies responded to a report of shots fired.
When deputies arrived, Andrew Mazeika was still alive, and he was transported to Valley View Medical Center in critical condition. Judi Mazeika was declared dead at the scene.
On Sunday, Eagle County Sheriff’s Office released a statement identifiying the victims and stating that “this incident appears to be a homicide suicide.”
Autopsies are still pending.
