“The Carter” documentary, released in 2009, already faced its fair share of trouble, when Lil Wayne sued to have it removed from the Sundance Film Festival that year. The rapper claimed it was a “scandalous portrayal.”
However, seeing how Lil Wayne allowed cameras to follow him around, it looks like he at least cooperated with the filming of the documentary.
This time, Lil Wayne is . Songs that appear, supposedly illegally, include “Lollipop,” “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy,” “La La,” “Mr. Carter” and “Dontgetit.” All of the songs come off of Lil Wayne’s hit album “Tha Carter III.”
