Artist Gregory Euclide may be known best for creating CD covers for indie band , but that’s just a footnote on a growing resume that includes recent exhibits at the Museum of Art and Design in New York and the New York-like MASS Moca in Western Massachusetts. His new show at — titled “Observing only the ease of my own slipping toward the unknown” — brings a welcome bit of international art world excitement to downtown Denver. It also provides a chance to experience his mystical landscapes, which have been rendered in flat paintings, reliefs and full-fledged installations. He’ll be at the opening, 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the gallery, 1543 Wazee St.
