COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A Fort Carson soldier charged in the shooting death of a man outside a Colorado Springs motorcycle club has pleaded not guilty to aggravated robbery and first-degree murder.

Christopher Anthony Mountjoy was arraigned Thursday. He is one of six people arrested in connection with the death of Virgil Means in March.

The Gazette reports () that at the arraignment hearing Thursday, Mountjoy’s public defender Cindy Hyatt said she intends to call an expert to testify about features of post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury. She offered few details.

Mountjoy is a staff sergeant with the 1st Brigade Combat Team, which returned home in 2011 from a 12-month deployment to Afghanistan.
