Blacktop Festival 2012

The inaugural聽聽will see an impressive combination of video, art, music (Cody Chesnutt, Nurses), comedy, local food vendors and a slew of stimuli for the whole community to enjoy. The hoedown will take place Sept. 29 at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Great news for those of you low on endz, because entry to the festival is free.

Big Gigantic takes the “Road to Rowdytown”

has decided to finally go along with its namesake and do things on the larger side of things. The Boulder crew will be the first act at Red Rocks to have projection mapping integrated into a performance. The ambitious feat will take place on the rocks compliments of . Talk about the normal concert going experience taken up several notches. Here, the characters in “The Road to Rowdytown” video resemble extras from “Wet Hot American Summer.” Well done, guys.
