One of roots organization Swallow Hill’s biggest events each year is Rootsfest, a somewhat fancy occasion to sit back, enjoy the music and remember what life in musical Denver is all about.
And we have the exclusive news on this year’s bill right here: Austin singer-songwriters Patty Griffin and Todd Snider will headline this year’s Rootsfest with Lake Street Dive opening.
This year’s Rootsfest will again take over the Paramount Theatre, this time on Dec. 8. The folks at Swallow Hill expect it to be an extra-special show because Griffin, who will be playing solo, is planning on featuring some of the new songs from her album scheduled for a 2013 release.
Tickets, $39-$79, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at , 866-461-6556 or at TicketHorse outlets.
