A in several Denver incidents over the past few weeks was identified Wednesday morning following his arrest.
Juan Hernandez-Vargas, 26, is being held on suspicion of multiple counts of unlawful sexual contact, the Denver Police Department said in a media release.
Hernandez-Vargas was arrested Tuesday by officers involved in an under-cover surveillance operation, police said. Investigators concentrated in areas were past groping attacks had taken place.
Hernandez-Vargas has an arrest history dating to 2005. He has been arrested for obstructing a police officer, assault and disturbing the peace, according to online records.
