A man who and held officers at bay for several hours faces multiple felony counts.

Ryon Olthoff, 36, was charged Wednesday with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of first-degree assault and possession of a weapon by a previous offender, among other charges, according to a Denver District Attorney’s Office media release.

Olthoff allegedly fired at officers who responded to a report of domestic violence inside a building at West 3rd Avenue and Santa Fe Drive on Sept. 12.

Olthoff remains in custody in lieu of a $200,000 bond.

His next scheduled court appearance is on Friday.
