PUEBLO, Colo.—A 52-year-old child care provider is facing child abuse charges after a 4-year-old boy in her care died in August.
Leslie Grayson also faces six counts of misdemeanor child abuse relating to six children in her care who allegedly were not tall enough to touch the bottom of the swimming pool at her residential day care.
The Pueblo Chieftain says ( ) Grayson reported she had 13 children in her care at the time the incident took place even though she is licensed to care for eight.
