Formal charges have been filed against a man accused of a series of late-summer groping attacks in the Denver area.
Juan Hernandez-Vargas, 26, was charged Friday with unlawful sexual contact with force, three counts of unlawful sexual contact and one count of attempted sexual assault on a child, according to the Denver district attorney’s office.
Hernandez-Vargas is being held on $20,000 bail. He is slated to be advised of the charges in court Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.
The suspected groper made news in late August and early September after reports streamed in accusing a large, balding man of harassing women across the city.
