CORTEZ, Colo.—A 19-year-old Cortez man who pleaded guilty to manslaughter for killing his infant daughter by slamming her into a bed has been sentenced to 90 days in jail.
According to the Cortez Journal (), Randy Kuhn admitted causing the death of his 6-month old daughter, Sailor Kuhn, last year.
District Court Judge Douglas Walker told Kuhn he was giving him an opportunity to honor his daughter’s memory.
The sentence angered child advocates, who said the sentence is too light.
