LOVELAND — Logan Sweezy broke out into a grin as he cruised along on his bike.

But this wasn’t just any cycle. Or any boy.

Logan, 13, a student at Conrad Ball Middle School, rides a three-wheel cycle without pedals or a chain that was specially designed for him by Fort Collins . He’s had the bike for about two weeks and rides — or walks and runs — with it nearly every day.

The Loveland boy has cerebral palsy and now, like his three brothers, can play outdoors free of a wheelchair or crutches. He propels himself on the running bike based on a design of similar bicycles from the United Kingdom.
