GREELEY, Colo.—A Weld County man accused of feeding strychnine-laced meat to his neighbors’ dogs, which later died, has pleaded guilty to two charges.
Prosecutors say 73-year-old Joseph Losinski pleaded guilty Thursday to aggravated cruelty to animals and intimidating a neighbor who was a witness in the case. He is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 12.
Prosecutors say he had fed poisoned meatballs to a German shepherd and chocolate Labrador owned by Travis and Tesla Dougherty. The dogs were found dead in August.
