COLORADO SPRINGS — Two women died and a baby was hospitalized Monday morning after a sport utility vehicle struck the women on North Carefree Circle in central Colorado Springs.
Barbara Miller, a spokeswoman for the police department, said the women were crossing north on the five-lane North Carefree Circle while pushing a baby in a stroller about 8 a.m.
That’s when a white Toyota Sequoia, driven by another woman, came from the west and apparently hit the women, sending the stroller tumbling to the side of the road and startling several people in the area near Picturesque Circle.
