Spirit Airlines jumped into the post-debate fray Wednesday by announcing it has “tons of binders full of sales.”

The online ad campaign flashes colorful binders across the airline’s home page, touting, “Women will love them!” — a spoof on .

Spirit is known for using current events as ad fodder, with the results being edgy and often controversial.

Earlier this year, Spirit tapped the Secret Service prostitution debacle in Colombia for an ad that read: “More Bang for Your Buck. Flights to Cartagena and other destinations. Upfront Payment Is Required. Fares from only $19.80 one way.”

The ad featured a sunglasses-clad man wearing an earpiece and putting his finger to his lips, along with four bikini-clad women. Colombian officials complained; the ad was pulled.

Other Spirit ads have tweaked the foibles of former Illinois Democratic Gov. Rod Blagojevich, golfer Tiger Woods, former U.S. Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner and actor Charlie Sheen.

The binder promotion starts at $29.80 each way, with eligible travel between Oct. 24 and Nov. 15 and between Nov. 27 and Dec. 17 on all days except Fridays and Sundays.

Spirit is known for its extremely low prices .
