COLORADO SPRINGS — Kum & Go, the Midwest convenience store chain that opened its first Pikes Peak region store this summer, will reward 150 motorists with free fill-ups this week to mark its entrance into the local market.
Fifty motorists at each of three Kum & Go locations in the Springs will receive up to 12 gallons of gasoline. The stores also will offer discounts on food and beverage items, such as hot and cold fountain drinks for a quarter plus $1 pizza slic es.
The free gasoline will be available at noon Thursday at 7375 Duryea Drive, west of Powers Boulevard and Woodmen Road; 5 p.m. Friday at 1206 InterQuest Parkway, which is part of InterQuest Marketplace east of I-25 and InterQuest; and at noon Saturday at 2190 Vickers Drive, northwest of Vickers and Academy Boulevard.
Lines will form one hour before the free fill-ups begin, and Kum & Go employees will pump the gas.
