Gidget, the Denver Zoo’s sea lion known for her appearances with Drew Soicher on 9NEWS, has died.
She predicted the winner of Denver Broncos games with Soicher for six years. Her last show was in 2010.
Gidget, who was 27 years old and had arthritis, was euthanized Wednesday night because she was in too much pain.
This is not the first death the Denver Zoo has suffered this year. On March 14, . Bismarck, a during surgery in August. died on Oct. 9.
