Arapahoe County Community College’s Littleton campus was shut down Tuesday night after the school received threats, officials said.
“It was a prudent precaution to close the campus,” said Rhonda Bentz, ACC spokeswoman.
The man making the threats was arrested off campus and is not a student, Bentz said.
Few details on the suspect were released.
The campus at 5900 S. Santa Fe Drive was closed around 7 p.m., but classes will resume Wednesday on a normal schedule, Bentz said.
The man was issued a summons for interference with an educational institution, Bentz said.
