Lindsey Vonn remains in a Vail hospital awaiting results from “diagnostic testing for severe intestinal pain,” her publicist said in an email Tuesday.

“We will send an update on her condition when more information becomes available,” her spokesman Lewis Kay said in the email.

The reigning World Cup overall champion has been in Vail with the U.S. ski team. Her ski technician, Heinz Haemmerle, told The Associated Press that this isn’t the first time Vonn has gone to a hospital. Haemmerle said Vonn hasn’t trained since the season-opening giant slalom Oct. 27 in Soelden, Austria.

Haemmerle added: “She told me she feels bad and has pain all over her body and that her bones are hurting.”
