AURORA, Colo.—Several Aurora schools were placed on lockdown after the armed robbery of an Aurora bank.
Police said Monday they are looking for two men who fled with an undetermined amount of cash after robbing a US Bank branch on East Colfax Avenue.
No one was hurt in the robbery. Police said they believe the men fired shots to intimidate workers and customers inside the building.
Several area schools were locked down as a precaution.
