FOUNTAIN, Colo.—A car driving the wrong way on southbound Interstate 25 collided with a package truck, killing one person and forcing the closure of southbound lanes near Fountain for several hours.
The Colorado State Patrol says the driver of the car, a 19-year-old from Colorado Springs, was killed in the crash early Thursday. The driver of the truck refused medical treatment.
According to KKTV-TV ( ), drivers were being diverted to other roads while authorities investigated the accident.
