Grand Junction, off to a 10-0 start this season, is now a top-10 team.
The Tigers jumped into the Denver Post’s girls basketball coaches poll this week, at tenth in Class 5A.
Also making a return to the poll was ThunderRidge, which is ninth this week.
Grandview retained the No. 1 spot, and continued to be followed by No. 2 Arapahoe and No. 3 Regis Jesuit. Chaparral, which is now 7-0, went from seventh to fourth this week. Highlands Ranch is fifth.
The 4A poll added Conifer (No. 7) and Montrose (No. 8). Broomfield remained atop that ranking.
In 3A, The Classical Academy jumped into the poll at ninth.
