Louisville-based announced Monday that it has completed the purchase of First Telecom Services, a provider of bandwidth infrastructure services throughout the Northeastern and Midwestern United States for $110 million.
Zayo purchased FTS from its parent First Communications, which remains an independent competitive local exchange carrier serving the small to medium enterprise market.
The transaction was funded with cash on hand, said Zayo Group, an international provider of fiber-based bandwidth infrastructure services.
On Friday, , a provider of metro bandwidth infrastructure services in Baltimore for $22 million.
