GUNNISON — Democratic Gov. John Hickenlooper has named two Republicans to the board of trustees for Western State Colorado University in Gunnison.

Hickenlooper on Monday reappointed Meyer M. Saltzman of Denver to the board and appointed Nancy Ellen Chisholm of Lakewood as a new member. They must be confirmed by the state Senate. Their terms would expire Dec. 31, 2016.

Chisholm graduated from Western State in 1990 with a degree in business administration. She is vice president and general manager of Tyco Retail Solutions. She replaces fellow Republican Stephanie Foote, who served for nearly 10 years.

Saltzman is a certified public accountant who was first appointed to the board in 2009.
