BOULDER, Colo.—A 65-year-old woman convicted of bank robbery is back in jail after allegedly escaping from the Boulder County Jail’s work release program.
Police arrested Datha Nation at a bus terminal last week on warrants for escape and failure to comply with her sentence. She is accused of failing to return to the county jail Jan. 4 as part of her requirements for her work release.
She is also accused of attempting to influence a public servant because police say she presented an officer a fake name, birthdate and Social Security number after her escape. The Longmont Times-Call () reports that when the officer showed her a photo that ran with a newspaper article about her escape warrant, Nation allegedly said it was a photo of her twin.
