A mobile home fire in Farmer’s Korner tied up high country crews Tuesday afternoon.
The Red, White & Blue Fire crews initially thought the home was abandoned, in the neighborhood between Breckenridge and Frisco.
Crews arrived at 4 p.m. and battled the blaze until early evening, according to a press release.
“Firefighters were hampered by the lack of hydrants in the area and ultimately had to run hoses from a hydrant at the water-treatment plant on Swan Mountain Road, closing the road,” the release from Red, White & Blue Fire stated.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
