Aurora police on Wednesday identified a man charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman last week in a parking lot.
Isaac McCoy, 22, has been arraigned in Arapahoe County Court on charges of first-degree murder stemming from the Friday shooting in the 10700 block of E. Exposition Avenue.
Officers arrived about 1:25 a.m. to find a woman lying in the parking lot suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The county coroner on Wednesday would not release her name.
Witnesses told police they heard a man and a woman arguing near the lot just before gunshots sounded. Aurora police said they were still investigating a motive, noting that McCoy and the woman apparently knew each other.
