GREELEY, Colo.—Greeley police say they believe a car explosion that sent a man to the hospital with severe burns was an accident.
The explosion happened Thursday night in a car parked in front of a home in west Greeley.
Sgt. Susie West said Friday the victim is a plumber and investigators believe a gas canister exploded in the trunk of the car.
The identity and condition of the victim was not available.
