AURORA, Colo.—Bond has been raised to $1 million for a man who was arrested after pipe bombs and bomb-making materials were found in an Aurora home.

Police arrested Michael Grover early Tuesday after they found suspicious materials in his home while they were responding to a small fire in the basement late Monday. Authorities also removed two explosives from a shed in back.

Michael Grover appeared in court Wednesday. He faces charges of possession of explosives.

KCNC-TV in Denver reports ( ) that according to an arrest affidavit, Grover allegedly told police he was going to detonate at least some devices this weekend. The affidavit doesn’t mention where.
