The three-day 2013 Rocky Mountain Horse Expo is Friday through March 10 and includes A daily Stick Horse Rodeo for kids, “Cowboy Trails,” and “The Mane Event,” a showcase of more than 90 talented horses, are among the highlights. You’ll have a blast
The interactive science exhibit “3, 2, 1 … Blast Off!” continues at the in partnership with the United Launch Alliance. Mini museumgoers get to build, launch and test their own rockets while learning about aerodynamics, technology, physics and engineering. New to the returning and updated exhibit are two models of real-life rockets (each more than 10 feet tall) and vertical rocket launches, as well as a looping video of real rocket launches from the alliance. Brewing and beer in Boulder
Historic beer bottles, artifacts and exhibits on prohibition and home brewing are featured in the “BEER! Boulder’s History on Tap” exhibit on display through Oct. 27 at Boulder County has more than a dozen breweries and close to 10 brew pubs, with more scheduled to open this year. Understand as part of “Living History Day” at Four Mile Historic Park on March 10. Guests will see demonstrations of blacksmithing, sewing and quilting and an 1800s wood-burning stove.
