UPDATE: The Colorado Senate passed five gun control bills on Monday, March 11, 2013. Three of those measures – dealing with domestic violence, online training for concealed carry certification and fees for background checks – await Governor Hickenlooper’s signing.
Two other measures, universal background checks and limits on ammunition magazine size returned to the Colorado House. On March 13, 2013, the House passed the bill limiting ammunition magazine size, while the universal background checks bill was sent to a conference committee.
