
Lakewood police said Sunday that the murder of lawyer Claudia D. Miller wasn’t the only crime committed in her office building on March 5, and released surveillance photo of a man suspected of stealing from a different office.
The agency said in a media release that investigators do not think the two crimes at 445 Union Blvd. are related. , 52, is being held in Caldwell, Idaho, where he was arrested on March 8 on parole violations. He was allegedly shown on a surveillance tapes at two stores using Miller’s credit cards after her murder.
In a second case, a man in his 20s was seen on tapes at several stores using credit cards from a wallet stolen in the same building on the same day. He was driving a late 1990s to early 2000s model Toyota Camry, polices aid.
