Goodwill’s Deja Blue in Cherry Creek North is featuring an exhibit from two local designers who were part of its recent Good Exchange event,  and Kotomi Yoshida. The fundraiser featured a fashion show with designs by students in Goodwill’s youth programs, plus “up-cycled” designs by Rose and Yoshida, and their work is now for sale. Rose studied psychology at the University of Colorado-Boulder but loved fashion, so she learned to sew at Emily Griffith Opportunity School and now has her own line. Yoshida, who was an art major, started making clothes by recycling thrift shop finds. Through , she creates and sells men’s and women’s Tokyo-inspired street wear.
