Golden police have ticketed a man who showed his displeasure at someone who rang his doorbell twice and ran off by firing a pistol into the ground early Sunday.
Police issued a summons for reckless endangerment, unlawful use of a firearm and unlawfully discharging a firearm to Ture Hoefner, 46.
Police responded to a report of shots fired just after midnight at 17132 W. 16th Ave.
Hoefner “fired two rounds from a revolver into the ground in the front yard in response to some unknown person ringing his doorbell for the second time and running off,” according to a police release.
