The New Orleans music festival — which runs Nov. 1-13, 2013 — reads a bit old-school at first, but when you consider how active some of the headliners have been in recent years, it’s a solid lineup.

The 2013 Voodoo lineup starts with headliners and and continues with Calvin Harris, Bassnectar, Paramore, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Afrojack, Boys Noise, the Gaslight Anthem, Big Gigantic, How to Destroy Angels, Cults, Alkaline Trio, Desaparecidos and Robert Delong.

What are we psyched about? Seeing both of Trent Reznor’s bands, Nine Inch Nails and How to Destroy Angels, on the same weekend will be wild. It’ll also be fun to see old friends in different projects (Bright Eyes frontman Conor Oberst in Desaparecidos) and DJs who have now become festival staples (Bassnectar).

The 2013 Voodoo lineup will take over the festival’s new site in New Orleans’ City Park, an area of the park that has been re-landscaped specifically to accommodate large-scale events and festivals.

The day-by-day lineup for the 2013 Voodoo festival will be released on Sept. 5. Weekend credentials, $175-$500, are on sale now at worshipthemusic.com.
