Sage Canyon Elementary has been evacuated due to a gas leak in a nearby neighborhood.
The decision from the Douglas County School District is a precautionary measure, according to district officials.
Students are being taken to Douglas County High School’s north gym where parents can pick them up, officials said.
Students who are bussed home will be transported on the regular routes.
