Westbound Interstate 70 is closed near the summit of Vail Pass on the Eagle County side due to a semi-truck crash.
During the crash, the gas tanks of the semi were punctured, causing fuel to leak onto the highway, said Nate Reid, a Colorado State Patrol spokesman.
It is unclear when the highway will reopen or whether there were any injuries.
