PUEBLO, Colo.—Pueblo County authorities are investigating the disappearance of about $57,000 from the county jail commissary account.

Authorities say an in inmate who was given a check for the $6 balance of her account may be responsible.

According to the Pueblo Chieftain ( ), the check had a number to a bank account that the county uses to hold the commissary funds for individual inmates. The account had about $150,000 before some of the money went missing.
