DENVER—Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey says Denver police were justified when they fatally shot a man who fired at them during a January chase through northwest Denver.
Five officers shot back during the Jan. 16 incident after someone inside the pickup fired shots toward officers that were following it.
According to the Denver Post ( ), the pickup crashed into a tree and police killed John Montoya, who fled the accident.
