kicked off a drippy, defrosting evening at the on Thursday, playing a mix of alt-country and bluegrass. As the modest crowd trickled in, the band begin a groove that would last until the early morning. Rounding out the show was Tyler Grant, Adrian Engfer and the various all-stars comprising . This includes Andy Thorn of Leftover Salmon and Pete Goldberg of Smooth Money Gesture.
The band played a solid evening of solo-laden originals and novel takes on covers. The Farmers reminded the crowd that as long as there’s music, there is always a silver lining. Sometimes you just have to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again.
