MANASSA, Colo.—Former U.S. Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar’s official portrait for the U.S. Interior Department is a family affair.
According to the Pueblo Chieftain ( ), Salazar instructed a Manassa-area painter to include his wife Hope, his daughters Andrea and Melinda, and his granddaughter Mireya in the portrait that will hang in the halls of his former agency in Washington, D.C.
Salazar stepped down last month after more than four years as head of the agency responsible for more than 500 million acres of national parks and other public lands.
