BOULDER —When University of Colorado Chancellor Phil DiStefano met with former athletic director Mike Bohn nine days ago to inform him he wanted to make a change in the leadership of the athletic department, he offered Bohn the opportunity to remain employed with the university in a reassigned position, a source said.
It was an offer Bohn quickly declined. The parties eventually agreed on a settlement of $918,000 in three installments over the next year-and-half, and eight lifetime season tickets to CU football and men’s and women’s basketball games for Bohn.
